about

24 Bit / 48k - Hi-res Version

In speech he was still in style. To them that knew him best, they said he sounded tall. Bezel-green eyes and hushed with something among the folds of his hair. His mouth and eyes were almost always dark with a tinge of black. He went backwards at the panegyric tables, weary and with frost in his appetite, daring the host to lower the toast into the sugar-trees. He could fling everything about him at once like a hornet or a large rerio in the crumbling circus. A trifle on a park bench, rarely seen, and an upturn askew on a spoon under the ground, round that secret that swam the flag off course.

But the lightness of him cast over invented frank culture for him also and he could speak to anyone like a proper man who felt commonplace in his house. There was something in his stride and his smile that made your forehead press into his. Always smiling and bearing an easy look on his ermine features. She used to put your hair behind your ears and pin your mouth after him because he was like that and you were like him. How could you be excluded, being too much. One minute you would be head of the band and the next minute be a neglected servant.
